Singer & Musician
At age 5, Robert began singing in Church.
At age 9 he and his 3 sisters began taking piano lessons.
At age 10, Robert was the youngest performer to sing in the Watts Festival.
At age 12, Robert co founded a Gospel Music Singing group called “The Spiritual Impacts” in which he was lead singer and keyboardist.
At age 14, Robert won 1st place singing in his high school talent show. That also led to performances in many of the school’s assemblies and performances around the LA area. He sang 2 years in the high school choir and earned a music scholarship. He also sang in the college choir for one year.
At age 19, Robert sang in his very 1st wedding and was the pianist for his church’s youth choir, in which he wrote many of their songs, because he couldn’t play regular church songs as well as the other church organists.
At age 21, Robert won his second talent show in college and was guest soloist at the college’s homecoming banquet.
Age 22, Robert sang in a coworker’s wedding which opened a floodgate opportunities of singing in more weddings including an evening wedding, an outdoor wedding and a Catholic Wedding. He’s performed in weddings in Vegas, Mississippi and Missouri and he even wrote the song and sang for his own wedding!
Other music accolades included writing and singing themes to a few radio broadcasts. He continues to sing in weddings to this day! Just recently, he sang another March Of Dimes talent show at his job coming in 2nd place and was requested to sing at 2 retirement parties as well as being a guest performer at later March Of Dimes Talents shows.
Robert continues to sings at weddings to this day, also constantly writing and updating music he’s written over the past several years.
